ZEM.A was founded by Gizem Şengül, an architect and designer with a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and a multidisciplinary approach to design.
Gizem Şengül’s practice brings together architecture, interior design, and object design through a multidisciplinary approach to space, form, material, and function. Her work focuses on developing thoughtful design concepts that balance aesthetic expression with practical purpose, while maintaining a strong attention to materiality, proportion, and detail.
From architectural environments and interiors to individually designed objects, her work moves across different scales while maintaining a consistent design language — translating ideas into refined, functional, and distinctive outcomes.
